TUNE IN HERE
A message from my friend Raúl: “My country—the poor, the campesinos, the gays, the artists, the indigenous, the resistance—is being killed. Not in the historical sense, but really literally killed. Most of the dead are campesinos (rural agricultural families) that are being evicted from their lands by the richest landlord in Honduras (Miguel Facussé.) The livestream broadcasts the encounter against the militarization of the valley of Aguán, which holds both the major agrigultural rural population and the empire of the Oil Palmer of Death, as Miguel Facussé is known. Our contribution to this encounter is artin the form of protest music, protestive art, visual performances, poetry and more contra-culture expressions, moving campesinos, organizers and artists to the event and putting lives in the line in the process. Please help distribute the livestream to as many people as you can in order to have the international community’s eyes on the event to see what the encounter stands for and also to secure the safety of everyone participating in it, mostly the campesino’s well-being.”
